The HB Charlie C is a close take of the famous Charlie Christian pickup. We made ours fit into a humbucker size to accommodate many guitars mainly the tele style guitars in the neck position. Bright, sensitive, articulate, and very responsive best describes our new pickup. Our magnet placement and orientation has everything to do what separates our pickup from the others. We adopted the original idea and went from there.
